Service Levels

Africa INX provides management of the core Metro E network, allowing companies to make use of that ring by connecting to it from their locations, or by Africa INX implementing a fibre access build (Spur) into the Metro E ring at the closest node.

Our Service Level in the core network is 99.9% availability, node to node (any to any). Further measurements of service parameters are provided through the core network measurement of Packet Loss and Latency. These elements are critical to ensure the quality required to deliver time sensitive services such as voice, video and business applications.

Expected Service levels on the Africa INX Metro E Networks:

  • Availability: 99.9%
  • Latency: 3 ms (Node to node)
  • Packet loss: 0%
